  • To encourage children to do their own searching then specific child-oriented search sites such as AskKids , Yahooligans, StudySearch plus Google with safesearch turned on are recommended.   • Another two visual search engines worth considering are SearchMe and Kartoo. A search using Google on "Kid Pix Tutorial" brought up 10 pages of links from basic tutorials through to teaching ideas and more.
